17 weeks!

We are currently 17 weeks and the time is flying by! Mommy is definitely OBVIOUSLY pregnant now - which she is very thankful for - people have even began to notice (strangers that is). We are starting to get touchy-feely people who don't know us who seem to feel totally comfortable touching the belly anyway! This is a phenomenon we will never truly understand, and it is a bit uncomfortable when strangers are involved.

Kaely is healthy and not experiencing too many cravings. At first it was biscuits and gravy (thanks to her mother and her childhood), then pickles, then a few days of baked potatoes and chili, and recently she is loving ice-cream sandwiches. It hasn't been anything do-or-die thankfully!

We are very excited to find out the gender of the baby next Thursday. We will of course let everyone know as soon as we know! Pray for us as we continue to grow (literally) and prepare for this new joy that will come sooner than we can imagine! :)

P.S. For those of you in KS we will be in Winfield for the holidays! We would love to see as many people as possible while there!

Baby on the way!

Finally we have set up a blog for all of you, our loved ones, who are far away from us to following our lives as our little one develops! We are healthy and happy so far. We are 11 weeks currently and looking good. Mommy is getting a pooch and Daddy seems to be hungry as often as the baby. We are looking forward to hearing the heartbeat next Tuesday.

We will update soon with pictures and hopefully a scan of our first picture of the baby! In the meantime we are very thankful for all your prayers and support from wherever you are.
